A narrativa aprofunda a perceção sensível da menina sobre esta nova dinâmica familiar, destacando o desafio de lidar com os seus sentimentos, medos e tristeza. Sendo eu própria filha de pais separados, não pude deixar de sentir uma ligação pessoal com as emoções que esta transformação desperta na protagonista. O maior desafio foi criar ilustrações que transmitissem de forma genuína e empática os sentimentos da rapariga ao longo da história, de modo a que cada imagem falasse por si, sem necessidade de palavras.

[EN] Illustration for a children's book that tells the story of an 8-year-old girl whose life is turned upside down when her parents decide to divorce. The narrative delves deep into the girl's sensitive perception of this new family dynamic, highlighting the challenge of dealing with her feelings, fears and sadness. As the daughter of separated parents myself, I couldn't help but feel a personal connection with the emotions that this transformation awakens in the protagonist. The biggest challenge was to create illustrations that genuinely and empathetically conveyed the girl's feelings throughout the story, so that each image spoke for itself, without the need for words.
